We will start at 6 pm at the Holt House. We will have food from Olive Garden and a cake.
Reminder, we would like den leaders to present their den's awards.
We look forward to celebrating our achievements with you all. Tonight
Tonight we will do den meetings. This will be the last den meeting for our AOL's as they will be crossing over to the Troop level.
We will have our Blue and Gold Celebration, AOL Crossover ceremony and Court of Honor, next week Feb 24. We will start that meeting at 6pm. Den leaders, please make sure you have any activities that the scouts have completed updated in scout book so we can get belt loops. Please do this by thursday Feb 19. so we can order them.
With the township doing another e-learning day, we have made the tough decision to cancel the meeting tomorrow the 27th and push the Pinewood Derby to next week, February 3rd.
With the impending storm and the governor activating the guard, we believe it is best to cancel the weigh-in today. Your safety is foremost in our minds. Please stay warm and safe.
With that being said, we will do the weigh-in on Tuesday, the 27th, from 5-6 pm. This will be about 3 hours of work, but it needs to be done within 1 hour. Here is a rough outline of how the evening will work. If you or a family member can help out, please do. We will need a lot of help to get this running as smoothly as possible.
4:30 pm Pick-up track from the Holt House and bring it to Epworth(we have 3 people helping load, but could use 2 more)
4:45 pm Setup tables. We will need a handful of adults to do this.
5:00-6:00 pm Check-in. We will need everyone to arrive with enough time to put the final touches on their cars and to do the final check-in/weigh-in.
5:30-6:30 pm Chow down on some pizza and enjoy entertainment while we finalize and verify the track setup.
6:30-7:30 pm Run the races and give awards.
After we close the meeting, we will need help breaking down the track and cleaning up the space.
Below are the den assignments that we will need to help run this as efficiently as possible with the truncated timeline.
Thank you for all of your help and your adaptability in this very fluid situation.
Den leader assignments:
After scouts check in their cars, they can eat pizza, then head to the ‘entertainment’ spot.
